Estonia:

STATISTICIAN - Tallinn or Tartu

We are looking for full-time STATISTICIAN to our Tallinn or Tartu office in Estonia.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Planning, conducting, reviewing and reporting of the statistical analyses.
  • Preparing and reviewing study documentation related to statistics.
  • Preparing and reviewing tables, listings and figures` shells.
  • Participating in writing study reports and publications.
  • Planning data collection in collaboration with other team members.
  • Coordinating the work of other Statisticians within assigned project teams.
  • Representing statistics in project teams and serving as a statistical contact with clients.
  • Preparing and holding trainings related to statistics.
  • Contributing to internal process development.

The exact responsibilities will be agreed individually based on the background and preference of the new employee. It is possible to apply for a more senior position as well.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Master`s degree or PhD in statistics or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong background in statistics with practical experience in statistical modelling.
  • Ability to present and communicate results (to clients).
  • Ability to work independently and to coordinate the work of others.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects, often under time pressure.
  • High attention to detail and scientific rigor.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred but not required qualifications include:

  • Experience in working in pharmaceutical industry or contract research organization, including the knowledge of clinical trials processes and regulations.
  • Experience in working with Data Monitoring Committees.
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards (especially ADaMs).
  • Experience in working with SAS.

STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER - Tallinn or Tartu

  • Preparing study documentation associated with statistical programming.
  • Working as a part of a team.
  • Using SAS in quality control/production capacity.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Educational background in statistics, mathematics, economics or another related field.
  • An understanding of SAS programming language or good knowledge of other programming languages accompanied with the ability to learn a new one quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Precise, efficient, conscientious, and target-oriented attitude towards work.
  • Good computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including, fluent written and spoken English.
  • Interest towards a career as a statistical programmer in pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred but not required qualifications include:

  • Practical SAS programming experience or experience working within pharmaceutical industry in another programming language.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics in order to understand the specific needs in data derivation and output creation.
